— In less than 100 words, what is your idea?

I’d like to create a website about reproductive health. In Azerbaijan, where I live there is no website that could give people full information about it and help of doctors-psychologist, sexologist, gynaecologist and etc. In following link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reproductive_health) I put meaning of reproductive health. I have no information about such kind of website in Georgia or Armenia, but I’d like to create this website. I know lots of young people who afraid of their parents, therefore cannot get information about safer private life and also afraid of doctors or social blame. That’s why here is disinformation and lack of courage to learn something from mothers or fathers, or elders. Young people just afraid what will said doctors, what will think their friends. Unfortunately, it comes from old mentality.

— What is the social need or challenge your idea could address?

I think, my idea is not new for the WORLD, because, people learn about reproductive health in schools.. But here we don’t learn it. We have anatomy lesson in 9th class. But teachers feel shy to speak about. (Again mentality!!!) That’s why my idea is new for my country.

Stage of development

— What inspired you to come up with your idea in the first place?

It is already 3 months that I’m thinking about this idea. But lack of technical support and finance does not allow me to create it, unfortunately. But I think it is important issue for normal social life.

As I am a journalist and very very curious, for me the best tool is search engine- GOOGLE !

Hmm.. I’d like to say that, if this idea will work for sicamp, I have got group of people- content managers who want to work on it. But we need technical help.. About myself I can say that, I’m a student of GIPA (2008-2010). I’m also one of the organizers of BarCamp Azerbaijan.
